either a 4-2-3-1  or a 4-3-3

this would mean parkin down the middle and flanked by lalkovic and copps

lets get some speed out wide and solidity in front of the back four!

4-2-3-1 play Hayter and Lalkovic with Parkin and Copps or Mason the attacking four. All four should have goals in them. 0

Yeah, as much as I hate to agree, it really isn't SOD's style to play a loanee from the off. He'll have a steady start, from 70 mins onwards

My heart says play Lalkovic and Parkin from the start.  History teaches that he'll put both loanees on the bench, play Hayter as a loan striker, wait until we're 2-0 down with 20 minutes left then bring them on.

he will then put parkin on the left wing and lalkovic at rb.

I would like to think that it'll be Lalkovic and Hayter. From what I can gather Parkin hasn't had much game time and will have only just joined up with us for training, so I imagine he'll be picking the splinters.

... In saying that though, I can't believe I'm saying SOD will start Lalkovic. I have to agree with Standanista and can personally see Hayter on his own, giving 110% and knackered by 70 minutes.

Sulli

Hird Naylor Friend JOC

Stock

Copps Mason Bennett

Lalkovic Parkin

Controversial leaving Oster out. Stock provides a better buffer for the back 4, Copps Mason and Bennett to punch holes, and beauty and the beast up front. Parkin to block Speroni's view and the boy wonder to nip in with the goals.

I wonder what the odds are on Parkin being injured and carried off - seems a likely thing to happen with our strikers this season?

Lalkovic has not played in a front two or off a big man. He plays at Chelsea in a front three mostly on the right but can play down the middle at U 21 level he plays right or left of a three. So if we were to play a flexible two or one off another, Parkin and Hayter would be the best bet. Lalkovic and Copps could then play left and right. Thats four players who could all score, Parkin can score goals at this level, Hayter was second in line behind Billy for the last two seasons and Copps was third last year. Lalkovic is unknown at this level but he has a good ratio for Chelseas reserves.
