Home Sport Football Football Hotline Controversial El-Hadji Diouf looking for club in England
Oct 16 2011 by Alan Nixon, The People

El-Hadji DIOUF is looking for a club in England – with BLACKPOOL and DONCASTER keen – after a passport glitch prevented him moving abroad.

Free agent Diouf was looking for a deal in Europe but cannot leave the country and return as he does not yet have British citizenship.

The 30-year-old Senegalese striker – who moved to Britain in 2002 – has not sorted out a UK passport and will go through the application process in the New Year.

In the Roy Keane mould as in someone who totally loses the plot every few months and is absolutely uncontrollable.

Other than that, it is basically chalk and cheese.

And the fact that he can fall out with himself in a phone box perhaps! On the field there's no comparison i can see other than he's a nasty spiteful horrible piece of work!

Just what we needed on Friday as the Leeds midfield waltzed round us at will!

I don't like the man either but I doubt that the Leeds team would have messed about with him in the same way as they did Oster, Stock and Gillet. ;)
