Anyone live near there, I've been forced to go down in a few weeks and was wondering is that where The Cafe (Sky1) was filmed and is it an actual real cafe?

The Cafe was a temporary set adjacent to Knightstone Causeway in Weston mate. My sister lives in Bridgwater and made the short trip a few times to watch filming.

Like I said....Cafe itself a temporary set....if this works this is a Google maps link to the location.....

You poor sod, Jonnydog.  I once had the misfortune of stopping in WSM for 3 nights.  To call it a sh!thole would be making it sound better than it really is.

In fairness, i'm staying 2 nights in Bath (where I've always wanted to go), but r lass says Weston Super Mare is 20 minutes from bath (so with Mrs JD's geography I assume it's about an hours drive away!!). So if I can stay in a decnt pub in Bath for 2 days then I'll be happy!!

... Unless she said is was that time of the year I need a bath!! God only knows!!

Women eh?

Its 35-40 miles between Bath and Weston on the A38.

Good traffic it'll take an hour, rush hour/ accidents - atleast double.

known localy as Weston-super-Mud, you will see why when you get there

traffic and roads around there aren't great, it is only about 20 miles from Bath, but it will take you at least an hour - well worthwhile to take a detour via Cheddar Gorge if you can

sorry I dont know any of the pubs in the city, but they seem just general city centre pubs to me, but if you can get to The George in Norton-St-Phillip

Oh and if you are there this Friday, 3 of the DRFC South-West Branch will be watching Livewire at the Komedia

And PDXRover, I believe it's pronounced \"Weston Suuuuuuuuper Mare\".  Schoolboy error.

Brilliant.

I left the car in Newport and got the train in to Cardiff for the JPT Final.  It was shut.  Not a soul about.
