Ikeme
Chimbonda-Martis-Beye-Ilunga
        Barnes-Gillett
    Coppinger----Bennett
            Diouf
          Piquionne

Must win game. I think the player will be up for this one compared to the palace players who realisticly arent going to get in the playoffs. Like Saunders pre match comments, very positive. 1-0 rovers Diouf

Brighton, Posh, Derby and Millwall were all described at some point as \"must-win\" games.

We didn't win any of them.

What does \"must win\" mean and how many \"must win\" games can a team afford not to win, and if a team can afford not to win them, why were they called \"must win\" in the first place?

They were big games not must wins, there we had a chance to get ahead of the pack. This game is a must win as if we dont win we will be relegated. Forest was a must win game.

Palace are unbeaten in 10 I read somewhere. I doubt it's gonna be easy as we all hope

Ah I see. What about Coventry at home? You had that down as a \"must win\"...but we didn't win it. What did that mean?

I hadn't realised that if we didn't win tonight we would be relegated. The Football League have kept that very quiet.

Just 2 defeats on their own patch all season (Middlesbrough & Leicester) with 10 goals conceded. It will be the best result we've had away from home under Saunders if we get the 3 points but its a tall order on current form.

How long ago was Cov? we had plenty of time to recover we dont now thats why its a must win. If you think we can still stay up even if we dont tonight then you are deluded.

Would be at the game but instead I'm on baby duty. Baby is now overdue. I have told better half how considerate I am being by not going to Palace or Southampton but she does not seem impressed. Hope for a good moral boosting win for Rovers and that T'Intweb radio works for me so I can listen to it. Palace is my nearest ground as well. Ah well :rtid: :boxing:

That'll teach us not to win our \"must win\" games. You'd think we'd have learnt our lesson back in October.
