Makes me wonder how he would do in prem

i know hes quality and scores goals but remember.. theres only really barca and real madrid who actually do anything in La Liga.. and 2 or 3 decent ish teams. And the rest make up the numbers as the 2 big clubs get all the tv money and revenue streams. Making  the spanish league s**t imo and cant stand watching teams getting battered by the big two. Doeesnt make exciting viewing in my opinion. Premiership any day of the week!

Well, after watching Channel 5 this evening and seeing an average 'make up the numbers' team batter the best team in English history, and our reigning champions, i beg to differ. I watch a lot of Spanish football and believe me, the fact that Real and Barca dominate is down to the quality of those two, rather than the quality of the Spanish league

Spot on fella, I have been saying the exact same thing on several posts on here.. All the evidence about the Spanish teams being crap compared to the English teams just isn't there. Compare all the recent results between teams from both leagues and it tells the real story. Along with the fact that English clubs have won only 3 European trophies since 2000 compared to Spanish clubs winning 9.
There is a lot of ignorance about the quality of La Liga..

By the way, get in there Bilbao... Love watching the Mancs get stuffed at home again.

62 goals for the season. 17 goals in 10 games. Best player ever to step foot onto a football pitch. Ronaldo doesn't come close, only one who's capable of surpassing this mans greatness is Billy Kee.
