Not long now. I just hope the players are up for the game as much as me. I'm buzzing. I know its only the cup but ifs still like our first game of the season.

It feels more than the first game of the season.

It's more first game of a new start for us.

I can't wait. I hope ticket sales increase. Sitting in a 5k crowd will be annoying.

I'm so excited. It's the beginning of a new dawn. We have some excellent signings, hopefully land 2 or 3 more of the same calibre, positive changes behind the scenes.A chief exec who seems to have united the fans.
Now it's time to see if Deano can deliver and I really think he will.

Let's put last season behind us and concentrate on the future. Today we will start with a bang and York will be out of their depth. We need to be patient with the attendances as good performances and results will bring the fans back.

Let's make opposing teams fear us and turn the KM into the fortress it deserves to be!

Only 3 hours to go... :clapping: :woohoo: :rtid:

I wouldn't go as far to say York will be out of their depth especially when you consider Matty Blair among the others who got them a cup and play off win. But it will be a cracking game and hopefully we'll start this new dawn as we mean to go on. Interested to see the tactics behind the new team compared to last seasons 'make do and patch up'

Matty Blair is injured so probably won't risk him today.

Remember the momentum and confidence we had when we came up from the Conference, and what happened in that season. We also beat a Tier 3 team (Grimsby) in our first League Cup tie - and from 0-2 down as well.

I have confidence for the season as a whole, but don't underestimate York
