Tomorrow's Crowd
« on August 20, 2012, 11:33:40 am by big fat yorkshire pudding »
Bit of a rallying cry, but surely after an improved performance on Saturday we can perhaps get a better crowd in?  Get the word out that we look half decent, be a real shame if we go below 6000 home fans for the first time at the Keepmoat.

Well, their loss if they don't show.
Very impressed with how we managed to do to others as we have been done to over the past few seasons.
Take note SOD, add the end product to your champagne football, and you'll do OK I reckon.

Just been down to the ground to get my ticket for tomorrow and found it a very positive experience. The lady in the office was very helpful and actively promoted and explained multi-game tickets and season tickets. Then went to the clubshop to buy my nephew the new kit, while I was there someone rang up to say Billy Paynter would be in to buy a kit for a 8 year old, don't know if its his lad/lass or a relative but thought it was a nice touch and showed a certain level of interest/commitment to his new club.
Well done DRFC, liking the new culture at the club!

I reckon SOD is doing alright seen as he just made a winning start with Nottingham Forest in the league above.

Remember there will still be many folks still away on holidays.

I would love to go tomorrow, but can't really afford it at present.  I am sure there are many in my situation.  I would love to go to all 3 home games in the next 8/9 days but I will struggle to get to 1.

A few more results like Walsall away, and good performances will see decent crowds.  I'll come when I can.

That's a more realistic number. Hope you have a good time. Just don't expect to snaffle the points back over the big hill.

Awful. Need at least 1000 more than that tomorrow and It annoys me. Clearly our lowest crowd at kms and what 4-5 thousand down on the last home game last season. Well I hope those of us there get behind them.

So if the update on the website says 183 away fans, where does this 600+ figure come from?

would be good to see a big crowd at km tomorrow to help push the lads on at the first league home game of the season especially after the great start at walsall . but from experience isnt there usually a big line out of the ticket office door pre kick off so hopefully will fill a few more seats .

cant wait for tomorrow and sat for crawley game got my season ticket out ready  and will be back down on during the week for tickets to capital one cup next tuesday  :rtid:

3 home games in space of a week though so could be a case of people choosing the saturday game cos of work, bein on holiday or something or simply because of the ticket prices folkes are choosing games. I reckon rovers should have priced the Hull at £5
each or something so we could get a decent crowd

Obviously now we are back down followings from away clubs isnt going to be as good now

And remember Bury might want to bring a good following, could be to do with seeing the KM for first time

I hope the club are ready to cope with the late roll up for tickets. Especially as it's a nice evening like tonight, I'm still confident we'll drag in more than 6K.

6k plus will be a good start. I think sometimes you have to go backwards before you go forwards again and we were in desperate need of stability on and off the pitch.

Deano is doing his bit on the pitch, the fixed match prices have provided some stability on the ticket front so all we need is a bit of belief from supporters that the club is changing for the better.

Another win tomorrow will work wonders towards the restoration of confidence in the club.

So I take it you think Saunders must be doing a terrific job if we're going on Saturdays results??
