I cannot find any ref to these tickets on either OS or Keepmoat sites.  does anyone know when they go on sale?

Think Rovers must be congratulated over this again.

Agreed, good deal. I hope it encourages a number of away fans also.

Thanks for the link. I couldn't find it.  I eventually found the tickets on sale on line but when I clicked on 'buy now' the Bradford match wasn't listed.

I paid £5 to watcn an FA VASE 4th round game so they are hardly going to be as cheap as that.
The two sides and FA also have to be in agreemment.
I think that they have priced it about right. :scarf:

£10 in low in today's market, man, plus quid a kid as well. Roughly half the price of most league games anywhere, I can't complain.

Think you owe Rovers an apology for that post. FA rules dictate minimum price that can be charged. We have this every bloody year.

"Competition Proper
Immediately after the draw is known, the Club playing at home shall decide on the prices of admission, subject to a minimum price of £10.00 for all spectators other than concessions."

I think you're living in cloud cuckoo land if you think they'd reduce prices as low as a fiver. In any case, the FA's regulations don't allow for it.

You're having a turkish!

The offer is half the price of a regular league game - could easily be 6000 plus for this one.  They have applied the minimum prices and these days that is a great price.

Mustn't grumble I think this is about fair and proper for this stage of the competition. Could be in for a good turnout and well played to the club for going with the cash turnstiles again.

How can anyone moan that a tenner is too much for this game? Some people are just beyond belief  :headbang:

I'm sure that a fair few people will pay for tickets. A very sensible pricing policy imo

Fantastic gesture by the club in my opinion. On present form I think there will be a decent crowd.

I am going for my tickets this am.

We'll be going, great value for a game that will be different to the norm and should be a good one to watch as they'll be well up for playing at the Keepmoat and we're getting confident.

fair enough if fa rules dictate, but its not cloud cuckoo land to think a club will charge just a fiver coventry seem to understand for the jpt plus for a fiver you get a free kid hopefully our club may follow dont think they will though

I know I will get slated from some folk but IMHO I consider the £10 ticket a great gesture of support from the club.  They really must wonder why they bother sometimes.

We have to run within a budget. If we had surplus cash within that budget we would be using it on bringing in the players we are desperately in need of right now.

I know times are hard and for some its a real struggle.  I am not exactly awash with cash myself. BUT.....half price tickets to watch MY team is fantastic. Hopefully I will get to see a good game and a resounding victory and a march into the next round of the FA Cup.

Thanks Rovers from one very satisfied supporter.

I think there are different rules for different competitions.  I think folks are generally happy with £10 for a first round FA Cup game.

That is true. I think clubs can charge pretty much what they like for the JPT. And as we know from the early kick-off in the last match, there's a strong emphasis on getting youngsters in to watch the games.

Reading this thread it's clear all but 1 person so far think its a great offer and I'm going to add my voice to that. Spread the news via word of mouth and let's get a good attendance to cheer the lads on

It's fair to say you don't need a crystal ball to know that rovers will never please all of its fans especially certain one on here :-)
