Brad Wiggins or Mo Farah for me, though can't argue about any of the contenders getting it to be honest

Bradley Wiggins for me... TDF win and Olympic Gold

They are all real contenders though and it seems amazing that only a few years ago Giggs was winning it and so someone like Rory Mc will be really unlucky to have won a Major or maybe 2 and probably not get a look in !

Personally I dont care who wins as long as its not ....... (to paraphrase one of the contenders !!!)

Wiggins is the favourite by a mile, Ennis and Farah the only others with a look in according to the bookies. Even Murray is all the way out at 50/1.

Ellie Simmons is 100/1 so I reckon a Place bet there would be worth a risk

I am sure a paralympian will get in the frame so Brad W Jess E and Ellie Simmons could be the one

Every time the camera pans to Bradley Wiggins, I just keep thinking he`s going to give us a rendition of A Town Called Malice or Eton Rifles :)

Can't disagree with two of the three but, sports PERSONALITY. What the hell does bring that dour scotch t**t bring to the party.
Mo Farah must be or should be gutted, he oozes charisma, started his own signature celebration copied by thousands nay millions and nobody will forget watching both his gold winning runs.
My feeling is there was a block vote from north of the border, time to give them their independence then he can win it every year and we don't have to look at his miserable dial.

I KNOW what you are saying and agree 100% with Mo Farrah but they call it Sports Pesonality of the Year and it cant really be judged just on that criteria

Look at past winners and they won most of them - imo - for actually winning something like the F1 Title or Golf Major or some boxing title or other. It is only then that you get to see some kind of personality coming through but I still maintain that it is mostly judged on what they have done for Mo Farrah would surely have scored highly as would Nicola Adams who seems to have a great personality

So its a bit of a misnomer to me and should probably be rebranded Sports Star of the year or something similar. Roll on next year as Rory Mc will surely win a Major and win it hands down - UNLESS and I can see this happening Andy Murray wins Wimbledon and whether or not he has any "personality" there will only be one winner and it will be by a mile

And if Rory wins that next year pipping Froome and a motor racing driver, England cricket will win team of the year for hammering the Aussies again.
