Billy Paynter had put that easy chance away in the first few minutes maybe we might have been sat at the top of the table and the posts on here since the end of the game might have been very different?I am beginning to understand why the Leeds lot nicknamed him Barn Door.
Brownie is carrying an injury. And he's played 4 matches in 2 weeks. Well, that's Dean's reason anyway. That ans he doesn't want Billy to go a hole month without playing a single match. It's on the OS if you care to look.BobG
I don't rate him to be honest. I'm not knocking him but to me he was just a lower league journeyman who had one good season when Leeds signed him. Brown is better I hope we didnt spend to much of the budget getting him here.
I think Paynter's done alright for us. He holds the ball up pretty well, and I think with a bit more luck/service he could've had a few more goals.

Brown is a championship player and what he lacks in goals sometimes he makes up with his effort and link up play. I haven't seen anything from Paynter yet.
Billy Paynter had put that easy chance away in the first few minutes
