Diatta and Plessis were certainly unplayable

Ikeme/ Diouf/ Fortune/

and some of the others were better than we had but hey lets focus on the negatives?

No. Let's look at the truth about all of them. Some were ok. Two were good. Plenty were utter tripe.

Who was the other defender we had who no one ever saw? The one who could get Barcelona tickets I think.
When you look back now, it just proves how ridiculous it all was.

Diatta.

If I remember rightly though the shop window was meant to mainly be for young hungry players such as Robert that McKay had hold of, but due to our desperation we needed players in fast obviously and so we had the likes of Goulon and f***ing Ilunga.

It could have worked had we gone down the first route, wasn't far off working til the very end of the second one but I wouldn't have tried it if it was my money.

You only have to look at Watford this season to see how it could have worked. We just got the wrong players.

And Fortune was by far the best one - it did of course work for him as he got his place back in the WBA team.

Worked for Diouf too, although I guess you could say he got his punishment for not keeping us up having to play for bindippers

Don't you mean the Binkickers Red ;)

I'm glad to hear it Norfolk. I'd hate to ever be associated with the lack of reference to facts that drives the opinions and over generalisations you spout. Phew!

Cheers

Scuse me?

Shows you can't recognise a fact when one is put in front of you mate.  If you're referring to what I posted after S'OD left, every single word had a factual basis. The conclusions were my own, but the actions, activities and behaviours I detailed were, and are, all true. But you couldn't distinguish between the facts and the conclusions could you? You just threw your generalisations around like a child who can't have his own way. If you'd taken the time to challenge the conclusions and put forwards some reasoned ones of your own, fine. I would have respected that.  Try it sometime.

Let's be honest, we'd have had a lot more chance staying up with SO'D and the players that kept us in the Championship for the 3 previous seasons, than we did with Saunders and Chimbonda and co. I mean look how well Saunders is doing in the Championship now, still 0 wins with players on 50k a week!

1 point from 7 games.

No we wouldn't have done.

Currently a free agent. God knows why we only tied him down for a year, we clearly never intended to play him last season even before Saunders came in.
