Rovers on National day

Off of the top of my head I can't seem to remember the last time we won on the day of the Grand National. Can anybody help me out?

Recall When donny were at hereford one national day.

Was a league game so before the years we spent in the conference.

Went down in back Of a luton van with 10 or so ddr lads.

Main objective was to find a pub and watch the national
Before going into game as we all had bets on.

Driver saw a pub,parks up we all fly in.turns out the pub was full Of THEM,and it was a messy Aftenoon with blood and snot Been spilt from both sides.

Think game was a draw or a LOw scoring rovers win?

I went down for the week-end with the ex-wife.
1991 I think and a 1-1 draw. Cold and wet .

3rd April 2004. Rovers 3 Bury 1. Amberleigh House won the National at 16-1.

The "omen" there is that the last time we won on National day, we were promoted as Champions.
