for those discerning gentlemen who fondly recall the conference days, I am delighted to advise that The Woolpack pub near Hayes still appears to be open, though now partially rebranded as Inhibitions - gentleman's table dancing club, and clearly a much classier place than previously (heh !) - appears to have been repainted, and is not purple any more, though

neville southall in goal, sky sports interviewers on the terraces, the wall of condiments in the burger van, the irish pub in town getting turned over and a selection of the roughest strippers imaginable from the local sink estate grubbing around for the cost of their next fix - ahhh - the good old days.....
