not sure it would encourage people to sign up for a season ticket if they have a chance of winning money without a season ticket?
I agree with Rob, maybe a draw just for season ticket holders?I also think a £500 prize is a bit steep, while obviously very good for the winner, it's a lot of money for the club to be giving away over the course of 23 games. Maybe just a £50 or £100 prize, or a club shop voucher or something would be more do-able and still appeal to people.
Or if they get drawn out they can have a go at some kind of challenge at half time to win a prize.Ideas such as kick a ball into the boot of a car, or get a big mat that can be laid out and is split into segments with a different prize in each segment. The winner of the draw gets a chance to kick a ball to the mat and what ever segment it lands in, they win that prize. You could have one segment (the smallest) with £1000 and then things like a replica shirt, £50, football, training top (that don't cost that much) in the other segments.It's likely that people will either miss the mat and get nothing or land on one of the cheaper prizes. The £1000 might get won once a season.You could even have a 'boobie' prize of a Scunthorpe shirt in there.
Maybe the winner can nominate one of the team to do it for them, and get to meet the player as well?? The prizes could be smaller cos you get to meet one of your heroes and a chance to win some cash?? Just a thought?

Would me at least!
I don't think it would be in very good taste and somewhat macabre to witness a steward escorting (carrying?) the 'lucky' disabled winner down the steps onto the pitch. I can see it now, someone poor bloke paralyzed from the neck down being encouraged to 'head' the ball onto the target!

People who pay without a season ticket put more coffers into the club anyway, and it might temp a few more to pay on the day.Then if they attended more often they would probably decide a season ticket was the best option.
23x500= £11500 About 30 season tickets.
