Stadium seating.

Now that The Keepmoat is 'ours', it'd be great to see The Rovers 'identity' promoted more within the stadium with the inclusion of some more white seats spelling out 'Rovers', or DRFC.

(Hopefully only visible during half time interval & not due to half empty stadium!).

If the Rovers had money to burn, it would be a good idea - but I think there are probably more important things to spend the money on first. And what about the other occupants, the Belles and the Dons?

Doesn't really matter about the other occupants, the stadium belongs (via lease) to Rovers, it won't matter to them, but I do agree money is much more needed elsewhere, just think if we change the seats then the FA agree to safe standing areas......lets wait 2 or 3 years then address it again me thinks.

Seats aren't that expensive in the grand scheme of things.

When I'm in the stadium I know where I am and what team I'm watching.  I'm indifferent to seat mosaics be they club names or even pictures.  I'd rather see spectators on the seats...

I said a while back, although agree that is not a major priority, we should replace the 't' in Doncaster so it fits in with the rest of the lettering. I know this was originally a council logo, to fit in with the "Spirit of Doncaster" but that's old hat now.

Let's see what the improvements on the concourse bring and if we get get more bums on seats then may be the club can invest a bit more in cosmetics both on the inside and the outside.

Sad to report, still no Champions Flag flying. Still the old rag that you can no longer tell that it should be red and white! Doh.

I was at the club today Baz and asked about this, the club are working on it and its not as simple as we think, the club are still trying to get hold of a Champions flag. Obviously as it being pre-season it will perhaps be lower down the list of priorities.

Before anyone does ask; what the players had at Brentford wasn't a flag as such and more like a poster and won't hold up on a flag pole:

Thanks Lee for the update.

But I must say, I have a flag at home that I bought from the club shop that is in much better nick than the apology of a flag that's up there at the moment. I will gladly give it to the club if they haven't got one in stock!!

Don't tell me, they haven't got a ladder big enough!!

That I don't know Baz. When your in the DRFC office in the KMS all you can see from the window is the flag that is up now so it's not like the club aren't aware its probably just a case of waiting for the champions flag before replacing all of them.

We already have specialist lettering and in my opinion the 'Spirit of Doncaster' logo looks better than just having generic 'ROVERS' on the seats anyway.

Saying that, I should never be able to see any form of seat lettering as people should be occupying the seats!

Baz,

Big news on the catering and concourse arrangements sometime tomorrow.

Watch this space, as they say!

Red and white hooped seats would look good. 5 rows red, 5 rows white. Repeat.

If everybody has a different line to sing we could do it as a round.
