I wonder if there is any chance of getting Carl Ikeme back since Wolves were relegated?

I thought he was a decent keeper.

Ikeme is atrocious. That error he made against Bristol this season is probably the worst I've seen a goalie make.

Beckford though, I'd have him here in a flash. He was always crap against us but clearly knows where the net is.

Or his howler against Brum away. f**k me.

And Leicester when with us. I preferred Woods to Ikeme.

But that's derailing the topic. Beckford is definitely worth a punt, as they say!

That one WAS with us, November I think when MAF scored a cracking goal.  Had a f**king nightmare against Millwall at home too when we lost 3-0.

I'll never work out why people never seemed to give him as much stick as they did Woods when Ikeme was gash too.

I'd take Beckford, not brilliant but by no means bad.

Ikeme looked a really good keeper in his first spell but I think he had been taken over by aliens in his second loan term.

Andy, this from his second game
Millwall took the lead once again just before the break. Liam Trotter played a one-two with Jack Smith as Trotter emerged into the box, he cut inside and tapped the ball home through Doncaster goalkeeper Carl Ikeme’s legs to score his and Millwall’s second of the game
the Birmingham game was his fourth.

Beckford would be a terrible signing, lazy, selfish, arrogant, just check out the forums for what is said about his disruptive influence at previous clubs - and by no way balanced by his scoring record, unlike Diouf.

Beckford no thanks, big time Charlie with the wrong attitude. Can't afford his wages anyway

A lot of us living in cloud cuckoo land, if your dismissing this calibre of player, I can only predict massive disappointment when our new signings start arriving..

He is on about £40,000  a week at Leicester and they would also want to recoup some of the £4 million they spent on him. No chance of getting him.

Leciester have been there or there abouts now for the best part of 3 years, so I imagine the owners will be expecting them to probably bring in another striker to help bolster their promotion hopes which could leave Beckford bottom of the pecking order so a possible loan perhaps could be in order?

I'm also sure if he is to leave on loan Leciester would rather it be to a team which probably isn't going to be challenging for the title either, which would mean they would have to accept in that kind of loan deal that they will probably still be paying most of his wages.

I don't think Leicester will loan Beckford tbh I think they will get him off their books on a permo basis, a rumour I heard was that he was close to signing for Bolton.

Dickos I'm not dismissing his talent , its his general attitude on mega bucks & doesn't really care win lose or draw. I'm under no illusions about the players we can afford to sign all I'm bothered about is that they show pride and commitment  every time they wear the shirt

Can't see us being able to afford him but what a signing that would be if we could have. Can only dream i guess lol

I think there's more chance of Scotland winning the World Cup than Beckford coming to li'l old donny - quality player but not as good as he thinks he is! He would want a top champ/prem team and wages to match!

Ikeme? Seems to have deteriorated over the past year - maybe all the goals he's let in with Wolves has effected his confidence, but at the moment, no thanks!

Frank Fielding would be good though!

As seriously as it deserved with the answer it deserved. What I don't feel the need to do is correct the spelling of a poster who has dyslexia. Love the icon, don't let me stop you.
