Cheers, an interesting read.
going to the pairings, who are Rovers paired with? Because whoever it is must be sick of playing at home opening, boxing and final day of the season!

Well it used to be Barnsley. But I think it's been changed to Rotherham. I'll double check as the FSF have a representative on the fixtures panel.

Definitely Barnsley, when they're at home we are away etc. Also paired up with SWFC & SUFC. When we're at home so are SWFC and the other two are away from home.

I think everyone is getting frustrated that Sheff United are getting mentioned in most posts lately.

Either that or it has been said on the forum that we are more likely to be at home when Sheff United are at home.

For four of the last five seasons, Rovers have played at home when Sheffield United have been at home. The exception was last season #drfc

In other Sheffield United News: Dave Kitson has been released  :P

Was hoping for the first game of the season to be at home.

" When we're at home so are SWFC and the other two are away from home"

Forgive my ignorance but I based my post on the above quote.

Doesn't seem to be the case this coming season.

Yes, you're right. I'll go back and ask the question again.
