Where have you seen that?
I was under the impression that the cost of insurance against postponed matches etc was that high that the supporters club no longer took it out, meaining that free coaches would have to be funded by the supporters club or the club themselves.

The club are paying for the coaches.
They're paying for 4 coaches and the advice is to book early, first come first served, when they're gone that's it.

They're still sorting it Jenny. There has been some considerable confusion behind the scenes because the promised funding didn't come, ( I shouldn't expand on that!) and to their credit, again, the club have committed to fill the gap. The only reason I mention it now is because it was discussed this afternoon, and I'm sure the club will give a heads up when they can.
I take your point though!

As martin has ssid the club only notified us on saturday that they would pay for up to 4 coaches as previous talks about funding the coaches fell through think fantadtic gesture from the club

I think its a great gesture, I just think a little more thought should have gone into it given that the game is only 3 weeks away and people will have made other arrangements.
I also think that first come first served is a little unfair if the coaches sell out - priority should certainly be given to those who travelled to the original fixture.

I'm going on the train. Well done Rovers big thumbs up I'm not bothered £13 quid return when I booked it and I'd rather more turn up with this free travel.
