Watched it last night.............Great film and some typically great acting performances from a Quentin Crisp film.

Waltz is very good, but Samuel L pips him for me.

It is an excellent film. For me Waltz for performance (or his horse!).

Did you spot the short appearance by a nearly unrecognisable, Don Johnson?

I've always loved Tarantino movies, but got to say I'm loving the newer ones where he's branching out into other genres (i.e Django, Kill Bill, Inglorious) - but then westerns and war films have always been my preference. In saying that I don't think he's made any bad film, even four rooms wasn't bad, and I think I'm the only person who enjoyed Jackie Brown!

I wonder if he'll ever try his hand at Horror (not like From Dusk Till dawn action/horror, i mean like a proper shit-your-pants-scary horror)

I watched Zero Dark Thirty the other day.  Really enjoyed it.  Not sure how true to life the events were, but made for a decent tale.

I agree with the criticism of it though that it shows the CIA torturing insurgents as a positive, but I've not faced them in real life.  I guess the Geneva convention only applies IF its applied.

Managed to catch Django on the way back from Rio earlier in the month.
Also saw the superb Snatch for the first time in years.
I'd forgotten how funny it was, right throughout the film, but couldn't help roaring at the part when the dog swallowed the squeaky ball. The people sat around me on the plane thought I was a proper mentalist.
