that foul in the first half
« on August 27, 2013, 10:23:14 pm by RTID_Peter »
how earth did the leeds play not walk for that challenge ?? I stand to be corrected but wasn't it a two footed challenge which in turn should be a red card ?? Could have changed the game if he was sent off.

It looked  from the South Stand to be two footed and late.

Should have been red. Late, two footed and dangerous. Could have been one in second half aswell on Wabara

Two footed late and the ref had already blown for a free kick to them, a red card all day long

Yep deffo red card but the Leeds referee looked after his own as he did pretty much all night along with the WS lino.
Disgraceful one-sided officiating tonight.

think he got a yellow for it  :headbang:

disgraceful decision to not send him, would have probably gave us the edge for the rest of the game

i thought it was a sending off too . The ref was poor all night missing obvious stuff then giving picky things . The free kick against brown when all he did was stand there whilst the leeds player ran in to him was mind boggleing to say the least.

LOL and the whistle seemed to be blown before they were even next to each other, almost as if the ref. was anticipating that there might be a foul coming up. Incidentally a foul that never actually occurred.  :headbang:

Well  thats Mr Mathieson all over,  plus he doesn't really like us, although he did seem to twig they were all falling over holding their faces as soon as Browny got within 10 yards ( after they conned him for the first yellow)

I'm surprised he didn't give a red to be honest, he's usually one to want to be star of the f**king show.

It's a straight red and a game changer. Can't say Im too fussed anyway we really don't have the squad to  be going on a cup run

My eyesight might be a bit dodgy but wasn't the foul that led to the penalty outside of the box. Am i the only one who thought this ? ;)

I thought that too! He fell inside the box but the contact was made outside!

There were valid cases for all three goals not to be given (well the first two and the penalty that wasn't) but it looked like a game too far for several of the starting XI.
That said, the first-half challenge on Copps was a red card all day long and the ref did actually go for his top pocket until talked out of it by the Leeds number eight, the same guy who spent the next hour trying to get somebody sent off by clutching his face anytime somebody was near.
Nothing's changed, despicable club, despicable fans, cowardly officiating! It hasn't cost us any points, move on!

Definitely a red and what about the kung fu attack on Wabara in the 2nd half right on the touchline didn't catch which player it was though.

The 3rd was inside and a definate pen - Wabarra's heaf must have been spinning by that stage of the game - he was consistently left exposed.

was lucky enough to be in a box last night and the 'tackle' was right in front of us. 100% 2 footer after the whistle had gone. I thought Copps was having a good game until then and its no coincedance Leeds started getting on top in midfield after it.

Awful challenge, awful decision.

Surely the refs assessor made a note of that assault

Big Club getting away with murder ,there manager  entered the field of play  fourth official brought him back but no action. Chris Brown booked for what there  second goal claiming all over and holding the defender down.  Leeds  players falling down claiming they have been hit the face.

Have the FA not opened the door for retrospective action in cases such as this ?

Don't think so, referee saw it and took, in his opinion, the appropriate action.

Bugger!  All we need.  Maybe opens the door for Duffy to play that role, and Forrester on the bench?
