What We need as a Club

We need all the rumours stopping,and all the different factions brought together,we are all Rovers fans,and i'm sure we want the best for the club in our own ways,the only way to do this,is if the club put a detailed statement out,explaining what the present board's intentions are,and all the details of the planned takeover,the club needs to be transparent,then all the rumours will be put to bed.

Myself personally i don't want foreign investment,if possible i'd like to see John and the other Director's get round a table in front of the fans and sort out their differences,i want local owners running a sustainable club,developing the youth system,gradually growing year on year,and when the club does better,we do something nobody else is doing,pass some of the profit back to the people who matter,us supporters,with ticket price reductions,this planned takeover has disrupted a very promising project run by local people,why did our heads get turned by money? i don't agree with most people that it isn't possible to get in the Premier league.

It can be done with wise investment in young players that can be developed and then sold on at a profit,you only have to look at the FA Cup this last weekend,there are numerous potential players out there,who are currently playing for even smaller teams than ours,but our scouting system doesn't seem to pick these kind of players up.

Most of us respect and will be in debt to John for what he has done for us,but you can't blindly follow someone if you don't like the idea of what is proposed,it's like criticising the other two shareholders,how many of us have a clue what they are like as people,most of us are just guessing what's going to happen.

None of this is helping Paul Dickov,he's already fighting a rising tide without all this,come on give him a decent chance,all i'd ask if any of the Shareholders by any chance read this,if you love our club,Please get back round the table and talk,maybe the VSC Could mediate between the two side's of the coin as a Neutral in the matter?,

Forget the overseas investment and get back to Donny Lads Done Good Running something for the people who you were born around,We can't do it as fans,but you can,you got us back into the CHAMPIONSHIP TOGETHER-NOW GET US INTO THE PREMIERSHIP TOGETHER
