The Experiment

Is the sequal slowly being rolled out? How many more loan players do we have to get before it becomes "The Experiment Part Two"? :chair:

Sorry Wellred that is out of order, and I am biting

Just to put some factual numbers here, for the last 5 seasons the number of loan and short term contract/non-contract (ST/NC) terms players have been ( I can give the names if you doubt the numbers)

2009-10: 6 loan, 2 ST/NC
2010-11: 7 loan
2011-12:14 loan/2 ST/NC
2012-13: 5 loan/4 ST/NC
2013-14: so far 4 loan (Khumalo/Wabara/Macheda/Young) and 2 short term (Wellens/M.Woods)

We are simply in line with all other seasons other than the experiment. I don't see any short term loans expressly for players to put themselves in the shop window other than possibly Wellens (and he is clearly committed when he plays). All of our loans have come from English clubs, and none are over 26.

The experiment failed, and is dead and buried. Less said about it the better IMHO

Let's just get behind the players we do have, and hope for a couple more loanees like Khumalo and Macheda, and hope we can get our own players fit sooner rather than later.

Welly,

But its not by choice though is it?

I presume what your saying is we should spend thousands on new players, permanent ones, but what happens when they get injured?

So if we don't get loan players in then what's the option? I'm obviously missing your point.

Maybe I am just posting something different to get conversation away from hedge funds/South American countries/board room in fighting/JR bashing/TB bashing?

We could always try and make it work properly next time, as Watford did, if at first you don't succeed....

I think Wellred just looks for stuff to gripe about and starts threads.

Whatever next. Different coloured stitching in the team's home shorts compared the last season? A few blades of grass 3.74mm longer around the SW corner flag that elsewhere on the pitch?

Herds of wildebeest crossing the Serengeti?

We should call you Mrs. Richards.

Hypochrites like you really make me sick.

Moaning and slagging John Ryan off for weeks and then have the nerve to call other posters when you don't agree with them or have a personal agenda against them.

Have I been slagging JR off for weeks? No. My opinion has always been that he is rightfully a legend for what he did for Rovers. However I think he's been naive and foolish throughout this whole Seqeuntia fiasco. And now he's turned on those who don't buy into his 'deal of the century' sales pitch. According to the exiles site, he gave his blessing to the ugly Bramall Out campaign, which drags everything down to the gutter IMO.

But, of course, that is just dandy for negative folk like you. Some people just like to moan, if not about the takeover then anything else that they can muster up. It also seems you've had a sense of humour bypass...

Well I certainly don't find you remotely funny. Quite the opposite really. More pathetic.

The thing is Wellred when all you can post is constant digs and negativity about anything to do with the club, eventually people just get bored of it...

No WC you only pick out the things I post which you perceive to be negative. My support of the takeover and John Ryans part in it isn't negative or a dig.
They were all positive. Just because they didn't fall in line with the vsc's thinking des it make them moaning and negative?

See you are still doing it. You cannot acknowledge the fact that all my posts about the takeover bid and John Ryan have been POSITIVE. You see them as negative because they are opposite your view.
