New players during the transfer window......
« on January 03, 2014, 08:36:01 pm by Draytonian III »
......so far the manager has kept his cards very close to his chest 95% of the time regarding new players joining on loan or full time,I fully expect 3 or 4 players to have joined [ loan or full time ] before we play Blackburn. Like most businesses deals are done in private and only details released when they are completed . I am also confident that whatever team that Mr Dickov puts out tomorrow it will beat that nice Mr Westley,s team

But that's not good enough for some though is it?  For some on here if there isn't a daily report on who we're buying the knives are out for the manager, owners and anyone who did't support the SC takeover.

Both departures and arrivals should be behind the scenes until deals are done.

Here we go again. why do you have to bring the SC issue into this?

I was pre-empting the likely reaction on here, has been seen all too often this season.

I',m a VSC member for my own reasons and that has f**k all to do with you, or the SC takeover or anyone else's opinion of it!

I brought that point up because invariably there will be excessive criticism of the club if we don't get the information we perceive that we need, which leads to arguments about ambition, investment, SC, JR etc etc etc.  Didn't you see the sarcasm in my post?

Yes ,Ive quoted myself 3 times ,because like most people who post on here I am sick and tired of every post ,and I mean every post being hi-jacked by a very small minority to re hash the same topic ,TAKEOVER,SC ,MONEY,ETC . Lets not carry on with all this in fighting and get behind OUR club ,and pull together and support the players ,who ever is playing in the red and white hoops

Take a chill pill mate.
I think it is fair to say most posters use this forum to have a bit of a moan. Whether it be about SC, the board, transfers or lack of, information or lack of, Silent Majority, Wellred, or whoever.
In my case and I am sure most other posters this forum is forgotten about once I go through the turnstiles at the KMS.
We are all Rovers fans otherwise we wouldn't be here. Treat the forum for what it is and get behind the team each and every game once the ref blows the whistle.

I don't think we will hear anything about incoming or outgoing players until it is about to happen then on the likes of twitter. But I don't expect many players coming or going (we haven't enough as it is). So a couple in is all I am expecting, probably loan players, if we can get their parent clubs to pay!

Don't expect anyone to come in. That way you won't be disappointed when no one comes. We Will have all the "we was speaking to this player that player but they had better offers from barnsley" same shjt  different  year

So you'd rather we signed M'Voto then over Khumalo?

Who knows?
I've only seen Mvoto once this season, that was away at Ipswich and he was terrific. Obviously the Dingles are bottom of the league so they are a crap side, but who knows how he would have played for us?

re Mvoto I think we got the better player in Khumalo, hopefully fully fit again soon.

Thank God the football is on today, let's have a positive result today eh chaps?
