Add in players loans ending. He really has a tough job atm. Not making excuses for today's performance by any means but judge him at the end of the season not now. It's the responsibility of the manager to keep players fit, just like how it is their responsibility to make sure players don't do crap things on the pitch. I don't care how or why. That's how it is, if it wasn't then why bother with fitness training. I don't claim to know enough about how fitness training works and how it affects players' endurance to sustaining injuries during training or matches to explain individual injuries. It's about the numbers. The difference between having many injuries and having few injuries simply cannot be down to luck, that is obvious. Some managers seem to be able to keep most of their players fit and some seem to have 'bad luck'. Why? I don't know, but they are doing something differently.Quote from: dickos1 on January 04, 2014, 08:29:06 pmWhat on earth could Dickov do about husband doing his shoulder in a collision, or mcCombe injury that he's had for years, I've heard some stuff in my time but that is a belter So you think that simply stating two individual examples from a long list disproves a valid criticism of the manager's methods and gives you the right to laugh it off? Give me a break.
