Legends Charity Game II

A bit early I know, but really want to drum up interest. Last year we did a legends game at the KM, with a charity squad taking on the likes of Lee Hendrie, David May, Jason McAteer, Andy Sinton, Clayton Blackmore to name a few and DRFC 'legends' Sarge, Rat and Woggy.

Last year it was organised within 6 weeks and attracted just over 900 fans. In total the Eve Merton Trust received just over £10k from the day.
This year were looking to make it a great day and of course raise even more money for the EM charity. The charity itself raises money for Doncaster Cancer sufferers and also provides terminally ill people with the opportunity to do their 'once in a lifetime' thing.

The date has been set and its Sunday 18th May again at the Keepmoat. So far Paul Merson, Lee Hendrie (if you came to the last game you will pay the entrance fee to watch him again, he was unbelievable) have said yes and we're awaiting a lot more to give us the green light.

Also this year, I've managed to get the 'Legends' from DRFC past of Darren Moore, Kevin Horlock and Rufus Brevett to play.

As I say it's a while away yet, but I wanted to plant the seed and get people to keep the 18th May free in their diary. Also there will be sponsorship available for the day so if you own a business and would like to 'do your bit' please let me know.

Some good names banded there however the DRFC Legends for the game are sorted, just awaiting the thumbs up from the other Premiership legends we have approached, one of which is a real coup should he say yes.
