Don't know if anyone will be making this journey from or via London, but South West trains have a day return £10 special offer on at the moment

The ground is about a 38mile route march from the nearest mainline station. Will take you about 9 hours walking or 2 hours in a cab to reach the ground from the station. Absolutely ridiculous. Most inaccessible ground in the UK.

I know it's bad, but you want to try going to Brechin or Forfar by train. Makes Yeovil look like a trip round the corner. I'm sure they had courtesy bus last time I got off at Penn Mill station ?

Brechin is easy. Direct train from York to Montrose. 8 miles to Brechin by bus.

Lovely cathedral. Take your golf clubs. Montrose is a hidden gem.

For Forfar get off the same train at Dundee, slightly longer bus trip. 14 miles.

I think Yeovil is more tricky.
