Wednesday's had a bit more than a honeymoon period. It's been sustained since before Christmas.
The more teams struggling around us the better but I think Wednesday will continue to get more points than us. Bolton have too many decent players and will pick up more points.
Bottom 4 will be Yeovil, Barnsley, Charlton and Millwall. All four are worse than us, but we won't be much higher than 5th bottom.

I remember everyone saying Wolves team were good enough and they wouldn't get relegated. Recognisable player names don't mean good players.

Bolton have been consistently bad all season, they've been waiting for they're fortunes to change since August,i think they could be the surprise team that goes down.

Excellent set of results. Yeovil/ Millwall was just what we wanted. A win for either could have kick-started them on a run of victories. The Wednesday one was a nice bonus as I expected them to get something from that game. I wonder if they had one eye on Saturday's FA Cup tie?

In recent seasons where DRFC play, home or away means nothing (best away record last season etc.), but I always like to think no matter who you are and who you're playing - playing at home is always an advantage (fair enough losing at home to Blackpool, Bournemouth, Burnley, Brighton, Leeds and Ipswich is a kick in the nuts, but, still my opinion.)

Anyway, we still have Dingles, Wendies, Birmingham and Bolton to play at home, and if we're taking points off these we'll be more than ok (I believe).

Yeovil & Millwall to play away, both horrible places to go, but, football is unpredictable.

COYR!  :scarf:

P.S. Just looking at fixtures and it's Millwall vs Bolton at The Den on Saturday. We'll be fiiiinnnnneeeeeee.

Looking at fixtures between now and end of season I predict ( where the hell is that BBC predictor thing this season ), working from bottom up the last 7 places in championship will be Yeovil 41 pts, Barnsley 42 points, Milwall 47 points, Charlton 48 points, Bolton 49Points, Owls 50 points, DRFC 51 points.

Wednesday are the ones to free fall. Mark my words. They only win against teams that are on horrific runs or when they have numerical advantages. They have been really lucky, it will all go badly wrong for them.

If they stay in the FA Cup then they might stop thinking about the League. I can't help thinking that may have been behind their heavy defeat last night, as based on current form I'd expected them not to lose to Wigan and very possibly to win.

They play Charlton on Saturday. Wouldn't a draw and a replay be nice from our point of view?

Blackpool got 16 points from the first 6 games.

Since then, they've got 18 points in 24 matches. Which is exactly the same as our form up until Boxing Day in the 08/09 season.

And recently, they have 3 points from the last 13 games. We never had a run as bad as that, even though we had the worst run in a century that first half of the season. That is how bad Blackpool currently are. They've got enough points that 4 wins might see them safe. But at the moment, you can't see where their next win is coming from.

Millwall will beat Bolton,we'll draw with Barnsley, and another team that might yet get dragged into it Bournemouth will lose at home to Burnley, and Blackpool will get beat at Ipswich who are winning at home, drawing away and are a genuine promotion threat.
