On a loan signing before the deadline at the end of the week.

What area are we looking to strengthen like?

Need cover in defence, at the very least a CB and/or a versatile LB or RB. Another injury back there and we're buggered!

I reckon we need a CB that can play RB, we're covered in the LB area, and given Dickov's unwillingness to play De Val we should think about cover in the CM area, if Wellens or Keegan get injured We'll be in a pickle if we have only the walking red card that is Furman to rely on

Broken cheekbone after being punched in a nightclub - had it operated on and apparently he is having a 'mask' made for him so he can play at some point

Great player, but, is he a long term liability?

Yes, probably, which is why we can afford him - if he were uncomplicated he'd probably be a prem or higher championship player

The reason he's not playing at a higher level is the fact that he's a loose cannon, if clubs like ours wish to have some quality, it's the price we have to pay. If he were a model pro, he'd be financially out of our league

Furman 'the walking red card' who has only had one red card in his career?  :headbang: :suicide:

For me furman has been poor this year but what I saw last year and how he plays in internationals I'm still hopefull he can turn it round

I disagree, he's had more good games than bad and one of few players that puts a tackle in.

The red card he got earlier in the season was for two yellows, the first of which he " took for the team" after Waberra had missed timed a tackle and the opponent was cutting through looking to shoot about 25 yards out towards the South Stand

He puts a tackle in but half of the time he's diving in like a f**king idiot and runs around like a headless chicken he's a liability and not championship quality he certainly hasn't had more good games.

I've watched bit of SA games on TV and he looks like a different player. More assured and upright!

He's more use when he's used a bit further forward than he's being asked to play.

Another thing that Oldham fan told us about, iirc...
