Chelsea Penalty Spot

Was it just me or did anybody else think the penalty spot was in a slight dip and the grass just around it a fraction longer (apart from the AM player)

Chelsea down and out now. Need to score 3. David Luiz is one huge liability.

yep done an dusted, but that penalty spot not looked back but it did look as if it was a dip and the grass just around was a fraction longer, gamesmanship or dirty tricks

At Stamford Bridge of old you'd never have found the penalty spot, that pitch today is a bowling green by comparison

Why would it be either? Both teams could have had to have used it, in either half, so the same for each team???

Only a few seasons back they painted the mud green at Chelsea to make it look like grass. Remember many years ago, they had to send for the groundsman to paint a spot on after someone was awarded a penalty because they couldn't find it. I am sure Joe Corrigan was in goal so it must have been Man City.

Could have been fun if it had gone to penalties.
