Very disappointing today, let the occasion get to him. Should have played Tamas through first half quicker and should have done much better with his attempt on goal in the second half.

Furman was good but why didn't bring Wellens on?

He wasn't on the bench. Anybody know why?

Keegan was awful. Only plays well with Wellens carrying him.

For some reason Keegan and Furman just can't play well together

Replace either of them with Wellens and we're usually more comfortable

I'm confident that all three will still be here next season as I can't see any of them entertaining potential suitors

Wellens wasn't on the bench that could've been the reason why he didn't come on. An injured toe apparently

Not true at all. Wellens compliments him well though. He was good at Millwall without Wellens, and on many other occasions. One of our problems has been not having anyone to replace Wellens.

He was still awful today though I'm afraid.

I'm clutching at straws a bit here but could De Val be the answer to our prayers next season after a year to settle in England and another pre-season under his belt?

Not clutching at straws IMO. He is too similar to Keegan to have made an impact since coming back from that injury. I think he could offer something different though not sure exactly what. Pre-season will tell us.

If he can control a ball and pass it forward that would be a good start.

I know I'll get lambasted on here for this, but i'm sorry, I just don't get Keegan. Don't rate him in the slightest. For me he's been our worst player by a mile in the run in. Today, in the first 3 minutes, he passed the ball 3 times straight to a blue shirt under no pressure at all.
And he's our captain for Gods sake. Not good enough. But Dickov took Furman off again who I thought was doing ok

Keegan mainly does what it says on the tin. A stopper a spoiler and unfortunately we've needed him but I wish we could do without him.

May be De Val could be the holding midfielder and from what I've seen of him his distribution is better. He may not be as tough or rough and ready but I'd rather have a defence that could look after itself rather than have a Keegan 'protecting' it.

I know you rate him more than me Baz. But I just don't see what he brings to the party. For me, he can't tackle, can't pass and is useless in the air.
Doesn't leave much else!
