Our tempo would be improved greatly by his signing and I can't help but wonder if PD is tempted to go back to his 4231 that started the season but failed due to the lack of goal threat from the 3 - Green would address that deficiency (but then so would Syers). If PD wants to stick with a 442 then I think we're more missing a Stock-type player than Greeny.

I think 4-2-3-1 was the plan but was stopped not because lack of goal threat but Forresters injury. I think PD was building the team around him. Duffy, Copps or Cotts can play in the middle of the 3 as well as he can

Not in the same class. Never has been and unless he improves a zillion %, never will be

Green is better going forward Keegan's a better defensive midfielder
