Title odds

Just thought I'd take a look to see if recent events had influenced the betting markets any.

Still 12/1, which seems incredibly tight seeing as we have a handful of players still.  Bookies being tight or just having no idea how to call this?

I think when it comes to anything outside the Premier League then bookies are generally pretty clueless. On the basis that we've signed no players and let 10 go we should be about 100-1 for promotion- although that might change in the next week.

Mind you, if everyone on this board stuck £50 on us at 12-1 the bookies would start complaining about "irregular betting patterns," close the book and call in the authorities. Shysters to a man.

and 4th favourite for promotion at 4/1? Tight kitsons.

Maybe if we lose the first couple they'll chill out so we can all sneak a cheeky tenner on ;)

I can't do it me, I can't force myself to back Rovers in any game to win or lose! Feels like I'm messing around with fate when I do!

Ironic really cos the one-season I had a flutter on the Rovers I had a win triple each week of a £5 with Rovers, Wigan and Man UTD. I did ok out of it as that particular year Wigan blitzed their league, Rovers ended up at Stoke and Man Utd won the PL!

Haha!
Never again tho it feels almost dirty.  :)

Fate? I pee in the eye of fate Al.  After the T/O collapsed I put £20 on relegation @ 16/1 (hills).  I'm an eternal pessmist you see.

I really wish I had put £50 on rovers to get relegated 7 games before the end of the season at odds of 14/1.
It would have been worth it to have lost my £50.

I wouldn't have a pound at 1000-1

Imagine when the corporal gets back to fitness marshaling the defense, fists pumping, Copps on the wing picking balls out of the air like a praying mantis, Richie taking the piss in the middle, Keegan work-horse sitting in behind, virtual new signing Forrester (2 seasons ago one of the best players in this league) showing us what he's got. Husband finally coming of age and becoming a million pound player ... and that's without any new signings - which will flow pretty soon.

Tell you what I think. I think we're Donny Rovers and we'll piss this league.

Wow how brave are you. It would be worth a whole £1 to see Rovers stay up!!

I've only bet on Rovers once. And that was the first season back in the league. Had a bet to get promoted and another to win Division 3 outright...

Netted about 400 quid.

Which was nice. But not as nice as being Champions :)

Play rush keeper with Jones in net or get Sulli back. We'll find a way.

If anyone is going to put money on us winning the league i'd suggest do it now. I can see us making a number of signings this week
