THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A DRFC
« on July 23, 2014, 07:58:15 pm by Upton Rover »
A message to all you so called fans who want to get a refund on their season tickets, you are all a set of moaning gets, go and support Another club if that is how you feel, Yes we have had two seasons of one lie after another, and we have all been let down over the past weeks, But you just can not say your that pissed of that you want a refund, We have come a long way in the past decade and we are the fans that have helped this happen, so give in if you must, but Doncaster Rovers will still be around longer than the current board. We just need to stick together and give our support to DRFC and PD lets see what happens.  RTID

Rovers till I die (or till there's a bit of uncertainty, or we lose a player, or we don't win every game, or the foods too expensive)

Just focus on supporting the team when it counts, on the pitch.

Yes for the last couple of seasons I can only attend 10 games , so your equivalent season ticket would cost you £900 , would you pay that for the season, yes I'm mad with everything going off, I'm more frustrated because this is a turning point , and when I get a refund I didn't say I would stop going but I would probably only attend the few games I can attend.

No club will give a refund on a ST just because some fans have spat their dummy's out, I will go on Sunday and urge all supporters to do the same and let us show the board we are UNHAPPY

It's took a hell of an effort to get this far over the past few years, that's why no one in their right mind wants us to go back to the   way we were. Unfortunately it is inevitable that we will, and after today's embarrassment of players defecting to Barnsley ffs, it's clear that if we can't compete with them, then we are well and truly doomed.

I will be very surprised if we ever get anywhere near the Championship again.

Which player under contract went to Barnsley?  Yes I share your disappointment but they weren't our players.

none of our players have defected to Barnsley, Turnbull was out of contract, and believe me Barnsley Singing him have Used most of their remaking budget, one good player does not make a team

Bit of panic setting in here, and it does smart that Barnsley of all teams are pinching our players but come August 16th I'll be sat in the same seat I always am cheering on the 11 men in red and white hoops. Like I always do. Like I always will. That's one thing that will never change for most of us, and it's a bloody important thing at that.

They WERE our players and would probably still be if we could match Barnsley's (ffs) offer.

i think some of the contracted players will want away to, and the board will give them that to get them off the wage bill

Turnbull played for us last season, Bailey played for us in friendlies this pre
-season. It was my understanding that they would sign after the takeover. Because the present budget is too low to sign them, they have gone to Barnsley (ffs).

They want to  build but insist on demolition first . If we are to build we need a board of directors who are willing try anything even bring in a pop star . I hate JR for the mess he's left us with but I do admire his tenuous spirit and guile . Bless him but it's not the time to Runaway  from
A challenge TB & co should get involved with the fans and let them buy in to THEIR /OUR club. Crowd funding failed but in principle it had merit. The VSC started this and it's time they picked up The baton .

No they won't that's a load of b*llocks Barnsley are putting themselves in contention for promotion and will make some more signings unlike us who at the moment two weeks away from the start of the season are serious contenders for relegation. There's going to be only one club in shit then.

Not sure on that, yes players have left them and its not just the two signings the players they are starting to sign are very good players for this level. We were in exactly same position as them 2yrs ago making good signings just a matter of weeks before the season started watch them next season they will get in the top six.

Sorry Since:

The VSC started this
How so?

and it's time they picked up The baton.

Two of the VSC directors are meeting with the club first thing in the morning and will be asking questions, fact-finding and generally getting what information can be got!
