Quinn to Ross County

At the risk of Sheffield Utd lose appeal, I gather that Mr Quinn is currently having trials with Ross County.
Unless he's helping Mr Woods look for that ball he kicked out of Newcastle.

well he couldn't come back after how he left. good luck to the bloke always tried on the pitch regardless of him being a bit of a plonker off it.

Presumably the move to Hibs fell through? I thought that was a done deal.

From the Scotland Herald

Quinn joins County after failing to win deal at Hibs

Staff Writer

Wednesday 15 October 2014

Paul Quinn, released by Doncaster Rovers in the summer, has joined Ross County on trial after failing to agree a deal with Hibernian.

The former Scotland Under-21 internationalist spent last week training with the Easter Road club and appeared destined to become the club's 10th signing of the season.
However, the parties failed to come to an agreement and Quinn has joined County in a bid to win a contract with the Premiership side.
The versatile defender, who boasts 181 appearances in Scottish football with Motherwell, will train with County for the rest of the week as manager Jim McIntyre weighs up a move. Quinn left Fir Park for Cardiff City in 2009, spending three years in South Wales before moving to Doncaster Rovers in 2012.

Quinn faces strong competition at Dingwall, where Scott Boyd and Ben Frempah played well in a defensive partnership against Inverness Caley in their last outing.

Boyd said: "Ben's a young player but one who is progressing in every game. We worked well as a pairing in the Highland derby [against Inverness that ended 1-1] and if we can get a run of games together that would be great. We did well against Inverness - and it is something we're looking to build on against Celtic on Saturday."

Boyd was on the winning side against Celtic at home in a 3-2 victory back in March 2013 and also helped County draw 1-1 at Celtic Park in March last season.

Regards
Ray

Good debut for Quinny. Subbed in on 83 minutes at 0-5 down against Celtic. No sign of Martin Woods.

Not surprised, Woods is still looking for the Newcastle ball.
