opinions r opinions
« on November 16, 2014, 12:01:45 pm by acko »
i have followed this club for over 60years,seen good times and bad times, good managers and bad managers, good chairman and bad chairman good players and bad players,i like everyone on here have my oppinions i also respect other peoples opinions and like them will argue my corner,if i am proved wrong i will hold my hand up and acknowledge that.what i dont like is someone saying i talk b*llocks,or is that level of supporters the rovers as now dropped to.does it hurt to accept other peoples opinions without you thinking your right and everybody else talks b*llocks

Acko
I agree if someone's opinion cannot be heard or presented without receiving abuse, then it reflects today's society I'm afraid.
There are times when some sites seem more like the out takes off Jeremy Kyle.
Opinions should be expressed and abuse must not be tolerated.

acko I believe folks should be free to air their opinions on here whether they are in the minority or not.

My issue is when folks make wild statements without justification, or dismiss others' views without explaining why they disagree.  I could say your opinion on "X" is "b*llocks" because my evidence "Y" and "Z" is much stronger and proven etc.

But I agree, to disrespect your opinion just for the sake of argument isn't constructive at all.

Exactly right IDM

Let's get back to proper debates,  can we? Argue your points, leave the abuse to one side.

Thanks for starting the thread,  Acko.  It needed to be said.

Please do acko,  if we can't disagree without getting personal then there would be fights in the stands every match!
