Atmosphere at BP tomorrow?
« on January 09, 2015, 10:01:14 pm by normal rules »
I have tried to imagine how I would feel being an Oldham supporter tomorrow.

looking at their forum there seems to be three opinions about tomorrow

1. staying away - too much hurt caused over last week
2. turn up and support team
3. turn up, support team and let their feelings be known about the way things have been handled this week. (post match)

I suspect some of the rovers faithful will no doubt roll out some of the usual black humour type banter, but nothing too unsavoury I hope.

it will certainly make for an interesting day.

Wrap up warm. Just seen this on their official twitter account

Very windy, some wintry showers. Feeling bitter.

4'C (-3'C windchill)

The only ground which I both love and hate all at the same time.
I love the pre/post match banter, the ground , the atmosphere, the rivalry but hate the withering cold as the wind whips around the away end freezing everything in its path.

We have much in common with those weirdos over the border and much to divide us from those "wannabe Wessies".
Like us they live in the shadow of much larger clubs with richer histories, huge fan bases and wealth but they survive.

Personally I think we should support our primitive cousins and applaud them for putting up with the same nonsenses we have to endure.

I love Oldham and their supporters.

I've just got in from a U12s game v Hyde Park Knights and I can just about feel my fingers.  The car display says 6 degrees outside, but it feels a lot colder than that due to the stiff wind.
