Whens he going to learn that you cant just chuck a load of attacking players on?

He won't learn. It's proper sunday league mentality.

Jesus Christ, it's a cup game, you're losing and time is running out, you need to attack to score goals!

Attacking doesn't mean you have to have as many attacking players you can have on the pitch at the same time. We were doing most of the attacking out of the two teams up until their 2nd fair enough to Dickov bringing the two strikers on made a difference and put us on top. But you can't defend the 3rd sub Keegan is the only player who can protect against the counter and that's exactly where there 2nd goal came from and it was extremely naive and stupid to make that tactical sub.

In a league game I'd agree with you

We were only one goal down, there was still half an hour to go, and we were holding our own. Yes start pushing forward a bit more, but fcuk me weaken your midfield and play with 3 forwards against a decent side with still half an hour to go? Crazy.

Keegan was substituted on 78 minutes, there was 12 minutes left

League or cup it doesn't make a difference at a professional level you can't be doing that it was obvious what was going to happen when Keegan went off for Bennett and it was obvious that kind of sub wasn't going to benefit the team. You still need to have some form of shape and balance even if it is a cup game that your going all out for.
