If we'd have beaten Bristol City when we had the chance, we could have won this get this year!

Just been looking at some stats. Did you know that Rovers have only lost one FA cup match per season since their very existence?

I missed a lot of the fun as I was being visited in hospital by a couple of fellow Rovers. Some amazing results. Makes that draw for Man United seem quite a good result now, especially as they will almost certainly win the replay.

and Middlesborough played a weakened team - rested goalie and had 2.5 million £ striker on the bench Kike etc

Wrong BB!

In 1923-4 we were invited to compete in Football League Division 3North for the first time, but not before the draw had been made for the early preliminary rounds of the FA Cup - we had been drawn against Fryston Colliery. This would have severely disrupted league fixtures so we withdrew from the FA Cup competition (nearly 80 years before Manchester United followed our example). Fryston were awarded the match and it could be said we did not lose an FA Cup match that season!

Keep up! :chair:

Bugger! I knew it, just knew it! As soon as DU saw it I just knew he'd find evidence to refute it!
At least my gift of perception is still there!

BB - is your middle name Cassandra?

Apart from anything else it is the best name we ever gave to a Simulation model - Cassandra - so good it is also my daughter's middle name.

For the non-Classically educated Cassandra was given the gift of accurate prophecy but also cursed that no-one would ever believe her

On second thoughts maybe that is BST and his 'will 85 be enough' points predictions

For the record, I didn't pose it as a question.
