Formation Saturday?

Going to be interesting now! With the additions of Razak and Ikpeazu what formation will Dickov play?

It's clear his preferred formation is 4-4-2 and I think with Ikpeazu playing as a target man it will bring out the best in Robinson who looked better when playing alongside Browny last season. He will also give the wingers something to aim at when crossing the ball.

Then 4-5-1 with Razak in there who looks like a very good ball player could give us more control over the game and again with Ikpeazu up there to hold up the ball when isolated and bring players into the game.

Yet again we've made some (on paper) very good signings in January. Well done to the board and Dickov. Lets hope we can get in the play offs and have a better end to the season!

Although the only way for Main to improve is to carry on playing.  Robinson too.

Nice to have options though, competition for places should hopefully keep the players on their toes and may - I say may - lead to better performances.

4-2-3-1

Main (if Uche doesn't sign)
Copps wellens forester
Razak keegan
Wabara mccullough butler Stevens
Bywater

Main at least gets onto the chances so I'll go with him at the moment
Think wellens will do better slightly further forward as in his first spell here
