O'Driscoll knew how to spot a good player didn't he. Mason's performance at Barnsley away (2-2) was one of the best individual displays I've seen from a Rovers player. We may have had a completely different last few years if he and Sharp didn't get injured in the first 2 games of 11/12 season.

Great news and pleased for him. He's stayed patient and waited for his opportunity and when it came, he took it with both hands.

Great that Danny Rose has also been called up. Another who has served his apprenticeship and been out on loan on to a few clubs.

Full marks to Spurs for sticking with them and giving them a chance.

Pochettino is a class act at giving young British talent a chance in the first team. Did it at Saints and Spurs, surprisingly an Argentinian is massively helping the English National team

think this thread is slightly clutching at straws  ??

wonder what claims are being made on the swindon and yeovil websites by the way i expected swindon to be almost relegated this season

It's a farce that he's been called up. Shows how bad we are.

He's been a revelation this season I don't doubt that, but to play for England you need to prove it a bit more I think.

Got to give the lad his chance? Only way to find out if he's cut out or not and not really anyone else we can call up is there?

It was in one of the Sunday papers a couple of weeks ago, a question to Chris Ramsey, then spurs coach, now QPR manager....
Who is the best footballer at Tottenham? ..... his answer Ryan Mason!

Obviously he shows a lot of class to those who know. I'm glad to see England doing what other world teams do by including talented footballers, it shows intent of playing the game right. I just wish we'd done the same with Le Tiss, I have no doubts we'd have won the WC with a team built around him

Well done, after three stints at Donny he decided to get his finger out so that he didn't have to return...... :woot:

About as much as me.. I'm convinced he's not international class, no way near.
