They had a few......One of the best sport films ever, 'this Sporting Life' was shot in part there in 1963.And in 1979 they got to the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley, but lost against Widnes. I went to that game as I had a few Wakey mates at the time. Been pretty much downhill since then.....
I went to quite a few Challenge Cup Finals too Including that Hull one Hools! I was living in White City at the time so easy peasy for me. It was a cracking atmosphere - and I saw absolutely no bother anywhere at all.BobG

They seem to have diluted it in much the same way we have with the FA Cup, it was simple the only way you got to play at Wembley was to win your semi-final How much simpler is it discussing sport than politics eh
