It's a shame that there's no mention of doing it for Darren Ferguson. Usually players say that they don't want to let the manager and/ or supporters down...not a mention.

Is it Hoola? I think that's reading too much into it. He mentions the work the manager and assistant are doing to turn this around, he is talking about not letting the supporters down. He's referring to us when he says he wants to look us in the eye!

I just hope his words here are sincere and that everyone in the playing squad truly believes. He is right, it is down to them and it is only these players that will get us out of the situation that we're in now. No ifs, no buts, it's on their shoulders.

I think we've known Keegan long enough to take his comments as sincere. You can see on the pitch when he's hurting. He doesn't rollick people on the pitch, he tries to encourage. I've heard he's very committed and passionate out of public view.

That's not to say his forms suffered as well. No one's immune.

Agreed but i don't think DF likes this type of player in the changing room.

Effort hasn't ever been a problem with him, Very seldom has he been put up as not trying, not enough of the whole team want to put there foot in and win the ball, you can't expect to have one guy in there, and not expect him to be over run.
How i see it as long as you gave everything you had while you were on the pitch, you should have no shame, and have every right to look any supporter in the eye, only the players know if that's how they feel.

Really then I must have missed those mentions . It's what I'm NOT reading there that worries me the most still .

Keegs ....I have never had a problem with him right from the get go. He does work hard , he is committed but like others has problems with confidence.

I take your point and I will read the editorial again as I may have missed the parts referring specifically to DF and directly apologising to us.

Sorry he does mention the 'man in the street',  'the manager and Strachs' .

I suppose  the former could be us and the latter HW does mention one by name but not the manager.

I don't want to split hairs like others I'm. fed- up with what has happened over the last 4 seasons.
