I have just cancelled Sky Sports by altering my package on line (no phone call required).
Here's a heads up for you.

The nice thing about it is ,for those of you who still want Sky Sports and are paying the full amount. All you have to do is go through the procedure as if your cancelling and a couple of presses later, when they know you are serious , they offer you 6 months at £12.50 instead of The  £27.50 full price .
All you have to do is hit the accept button to take advantage or like me confirm the cancellation.

I was chatting to someone a couple of weeks ago who cancelled his Sky subscription, then a week later they came back with an offer for him to reactivate at a price some 60% cheaper (similar to the above). Perhaps they're struggling a bit and desperate to keep hold of their customers. Start of the bubble bursting perhaps?

Let's hope the bubble has burst , they must be losing thousands and thousands of pounds a week in down grades and cancellations.

I get Sky sports through Virgin and it pees me off that they still charge extra for the HD sport channels. Do you want a clear picture? ok, give us more money. Gits.
