Yes ... one of the 2 I knew ! Was it 23500 quid or well over half a million in todays money ! I think that's what it says in the West Stand article.

I must admit times change because at 7 yo I cried when Nat Lofthouse barged Gregg into the net in the Cup Final but now I cry whenever Man U score - particularly last weekend !
