Having a clear out and come across a photo of the Doncaster Licensed Victualers Association on a trip to Gordons Gin Distillery in London. One sad absentee was Alick Jeffrey who was the Landlord of The Black Bull at the time but had other business to attend to that morning. Time has taken its toll and I can only remember 3 names. There was Biscuit Billy from the Ledger Leger Tavern, Wee Reggie from The Underground and Graham from The Horse and Groom. I have no doubt that some of you will have at least one of these people to thank for pulling your after match pints in and around town.
