When Rovers are bad...................

......they can be very bad. So it proved at Blackpool. After a shotgun start where we we out of the blocks quickly and Blackpool didn't know what had hit them, the Tangerines gradually imposed themselves on the game. After the early goal we never really got going until about a 15 minute spell after their fourth, which if Rowe had converted his second we might have got something out of the game.

I think it's the nature of Ferguson's teams though. It's nail-biting edge of your seat stuff. We can win a game just as easy as lose it these days. If you're after entertainment and frustration in buckets then Donny are the team to watch.

Felt for Marosi, given he's played well recently. I felt he could have got something on the first goal given the angle and arguably should have kept out the looping second. Although I reserve the most criticism for Evina. Just what was he doing at the back post. Just put it out man! You're a full back. At the free kick for the third you could have driven a bus through the space Marosi left when setting up the wall.

Copps was back to genius in patches rather than a consistent performance and Marquis looks lost without the foil of Williams. Mandeville sadly doesn't cut it. Maybe in a few years but not yet.

Rovers produced a very similar performance at Accrington and I lambasted them on the radio saying we'd be relegated again. Gross over-reaction but on this performance it won't be plain sailing for Ferguson's men in getting out of this division. Plymouth don't lose lately. Carlisle are impressive and are unbeaten, plus there are a handful of sides who I reckon we're on a par with all capable of getting promoted.

In summary, we were due a loss but I can't help thinking we've been riding our luck a bit of late.
