Terrible goalkeeping, but why is no one talking about the fantastic finish by Marquis?
I wasn't there today, but just watched it on here, shades of the 1981 cup final and Ricky Villa's winner.

Probably because we all thought he was going to f**k it up again like he did vs Colchester!!

It was brilliant though. Over shadowed by us not winning in the end.

I don't want to start a new thread ,but i can't see any mention of Paris Cowan-Hall's  free header in the 95min anywhere.
It could and should have cost us the game , a free header 6yds out in the last play of the game , by the smallest man on the pitch.
A throw in nodded on by Akinfenwa to an unmarked Cowan-Hall centre of goal 6yrds out that he some how glanced wide.
Where were Butler and Baudry

That's par for the course Eastender isn't it? It's all very well having a pop at a goalie who had a 'mare, but the defence as a whole was its usual rubbish. Any decent side would have scored 4 against us today. This is shades of Stan Anderson tbh. This is one of the reasons why I believe it's so unfair to unload on Etheridge. He screws up and he gets all the blame. The defence screws up, regularly, and Evina excepted, nobody ever says anything.

It's about time we saw what we've got this season: another Stan Anderson side. And we will finish where his sides finished - unless something changes noticeably right through the defence.

You clearly didn't go to the game as we defended excellently.

Evina played well.

The reason we conceded two was due to calamity between the sticks, nothing else.

I am sorry BobG you are wrong, our defence was good today, of course an opposition will get chances during a game, and so did we...

Even Evina had a creditworthy performance in defence, and Calder tackled back too..

The go should have pushed the last one away instead of trying to catch it

The first goal - was it a clash of heads?
The second goal - Should have been held from the shot outside.

You are right - that WAS miss of the Match and should have cost us all three Points

Sorry Bob but that's rubbish!
That was probably our best defensive display of the season. They would never have scored without the intervention of our keeper.

Don't think it was our best defensive display but that's because they were poor only had 3 chances and scored twice but although undoubtedly keeper will get blame for the 2nd we still should have had defenders be ready for the rebound

Copps might disagree with you.
