Sagittarian Blues
« on November 05, 2016, 11:53:01 am by Bentley Bullet »
Who, like me, was born near Christmas So when it's your birthday you never get much because it's nearly Christmas, and then when Christmas comes you never get much because you've just had your birthday?

My family used to tell me that they had got me one big present for my birthday and Christmas, even at a very young age i felt ripped off.

The baby Jesus?  Got 3 useless presents and not even a cuddly panda!

2 of my little ones were born on Christmas Day and the 21st of December, respectively. The wife's birthday is March 18th...

We do try our best to ensure that both of them don't feel robbed, but as they get older - and as they'll want bigger and want more expensive stuff - I suspect they'll suffer.

Of course it's all down to the time of year you're born, and not the star sign, despite the thread title. Personally I think astrology is a load of rubbish, but that's just me - A typical Sagittarian.

Mrs F's birthday is 14th January and she always moans about nobody wanting to do owt as they're all skint and off the booze after Christmas. This time I thought I'd make it really special for her. Give her a bit of rest and relaxation, time to put her feet up with a  nice cup of coffee and catch up with the shite she likes to watch on TV.

I'm going to Barnet away.

Why dont people just select a day in June and call it their birthday and only use their official date for legal documents etc, a bit like the queen.

You'd have thought Mary and Joseph would have planned a different time of year to have baby Jesus rather than having him at Christmas, which was such a busy time that all the inns were full.

It would have suited us Sagittarians better too, regarding better Christmas presents
