Heads UP - Space Station

Great chance to watch if you have never seen it

Great weather - no cloud. bugger ! sorry !

Long (very long) pass of 6minute 12 seconds

We will all be heading for the Ground at the time it appears 19.12 and a few seconds

It will be mid Atlantic when it appears and will be as near overhead as it gets - and will be way past Prague when it disppears. Great watching it disappear

It is going like stink 17000 mph and is fairly bright and does not flash like a plane. Get watching

I had my daughter in laws younger sister over from the USA a couple of years ago over the Christmas break. On Christmas Eve there was a long pass by the space station and I convinced her it was Father Christmas on his sleigh!

Watched the space station pass over by the lake at Cape Kennedy a few years ago when me and my lad were privileged enough to get tickets to be on site for the last night time shuttle launch.  Really spectacular.

We were notified over the tannoy that the station was passing over and it really seemed like they were waiting for it to hit a certain point in the sky before they pressed the launch button.  I'm guessing that the calculations were a bit more scientific than that, though
