fergie post match..

after told marquis was the first to score 20 goals in a season for 40 yrs.. he goes "Really?, what on earth you been playing at?"!!,   just a small snippet, but i think it showed someone was very relaxed and at ease with where we are... Plus, he refered to us as Donny,  as far as im concerned hes one of our own now.   5 years into his tenure im sure SOD still called us Doncaster... as if it was a seperate entity.  After the last few years, this great train is back on the right track.

Agreed.
I am still trying to work out what went wrong last season.
How did we manage to have that meltdown after the Stoke cup match. With the same manager that is going to take us to the league 2 title this season.
Anyway no good looking backwards, it's all in the past.
This team, this season has got bottle and a real desire to be winners.

The meltdown was after the Gillingham match, where we lost 4 players to injury if I recall, 2 in the warm up and 2 in the game, even though we came from 2 down to draw 2-2..

That's the killer for me..

Dickov built a team that didn't have bottle. Last season that showed even after he'd gone. Going forward we now have the mental strength to do well.
